SUSTAINABILITY

The studio understands the field it works in, especially that of fast-pace, often-disposable retail design can often overlook its impact on the environment. However, it is Megan's belief that the role of the Designer is key in introducing recycled and more environmentally friendly materials and solutions to clients and within projects and choose materials conscientiously. Megan has extensive knowledge and has spoken at Universities about sustainable material choices in Interior Design.

The studio chooses to work on projects or with clients as far as possible who have an Interest in the environment; whether that's Closed Loop hospitality projects, or designing a fit-out solution, which reduces material wastage, transports better and therefore lowers the carbon footprint.

POP-UP SOLUTIONS

Experience includes range of pop-ups projects; from a two-week in Japan, to a six-month in Glasgow, to a coffee bar forecasted to trade for two years (and is still trading four years later!)

The studio has also developed pop-up concepts (Mobile, Static, and Location Testing) for a top high street Telecoms business and developed an economical, flexible and sustainable pop-up shop fit for a large British Retailer, who based on this piece of work are looking to integrate the solutions into their permanent roll-outs.
